The next morning we woke up and had a shorter ride to our destination. We were chased by some dogs in the morning, ran into a group of cows, stopped for a coffee, and headed out again. When we finally made it to Juanita's and Chris's it was mágical. They were beautful, down to earth, loving people. They really opened up their home and hearts to us. With delicious meals they cooked. The first night was a delicious deer meat, rice, and salad. The following morning was delicious eggs from their organic raised chickens with delicious bisquits. Juanita made a homemade tomato basil marmalade jam, from scratch. Lunch was snacking on fresh guacamole, with another of Juanita's mágical homemade jalapeno pepper sauce, and declicious fresh cabbage, onion, garlic, with white streamed rice and ground meat with carrots. Dessert was chocolate mint icecream. During the day we would hang out, enjoy the land, the view, the sun, the wind, the birds, the dogs, the swings hanging from their trees. Some chores got accomplished, some bonding, some learning, growing, releasing all squeezed in at various times while staying there. Our last night on the full moon was accompanied by Juanitas friend Sue. Sue was a very concious, powerful energy worker. She worked a bit on all of us and showed us some techniqes. I really apreciated this. I realize that softer, and gentle, building trust, and going slow, were really imporant considerations when working on someone. I still trust my intuition when it comes to my own judgement, but now I take into consideration my approach can be fine tuned a bit. I like to get deep and go for it while giving body work. Not everyone is ready, to go there, at least so quickly. This is a great lesson for many things in life. We can enjoy the process, go slow, build up, and then land. We all enjoyed a delicious shrimp alfredo yummy pasta, with sweet potatoes. Dessert was followed by brownies, peach cake, and rice crispy treats. Juanita and Chris are doing some really great things, and I highly suggest visiting them if you are part of warm showers. It is a heart nourishing experience.
